Registration is now open for the Battery Cells & Systems and Vehicle Electrification Conferences —the UK’s premier event for battery design, manufacturing, and electrification technology—taking place from 8th – 10th July 2025 at the NEC, Birmingham. Following significant investment in enhancing the delegate experience, the conference will now be held in dedicated theatres, with an expanded three-day agenda featuring a range of new interactive session formats designed to drive deeper engagement and insight.
More than 100 top-tier speakers are confirmed, including senior level representatives from CATL, JLR, American Battery Solutions, Stellantis, UKRI, Ford Europe, Ilika, Fortescue Zero, LionVolt, Valeo, Advanced Propulsion Centre, Green Finance Institute and Inobat .
This valued industry event brings together senior leaders from every part of the sector, including car, cell and pack manufacturers, tier-one integrators and pioneering SMEs – gathering peers at a pivotal moment for global battery and EV development.
Delegates will take part in high-impact discussions tackling today’s most urgent questions—how to navigate shifting global trade relationships, position your business for investment, deliver cost-effective innovation, and build greater agility. Attendees will leave with actionable strategies and fresh ideas for turning disruption into opportunity in today’s fast-evolving global landscape.
Themes include product design, manufacturing development, sustainability, consumer trends, powertrain design and development, geopolitical changes, the global and local supply chain and more in order to support the development of Europe’s Battery & EV manufacturing industry.
With an addition of dedicated rooms at the NEC, delegates will have the opportunity for smaller-scales discussions and targeted presentations away from the hustle and bustle of the expo floor. They will have the chance to engage directly with the policy experts, strategic leaders, researchers and innovators shaping the future of energy storage and electrification.
“Here in Great Britain, it’s a very important show. The British automotive industry is needing to come together with all the players supporting the come along of the automotive industry and therefore the show is great.” – Christian Miesner, Vice President Battery and Cell-Testing, AVL
Conference registration is open now, with a limited number of Super Early Bird Passes available from just £140.
Alongside the conference, the free-to-attend exhibition will take place in the expo hall on the 9th & 10th July, providing a showcase of the very latest technologies and solutions designed to support the future of battery and EV manufacturing, supplying and usage. Companies confirmed to exhibit include AVL, CEVA, Drager, Electroder, Fike, Plasmatreat, Rigaku, and more.
“What I have enjoyed the most about the show so far is the diverse perspectives, and so many experts and professionals coming from different industries – battery technology, new materials, battery engineers – it’s just such an interesting opportunity to stay up to date with the latest trends.” – Serena Xiao, Research Executive, Simpson Carpenter
