Mark McNally

Mark McNally joined Land Rover in 1989 spending his early career delivering new vehicle programmes and model year projects at the Solihull Manufacturing Plant. Throughout his extensive 35year career he has held several senior management positions in Product Engineering, Programme Management, Manufacturing Operations & Engineering Research, both in the UK and abroad. Since 2010, Mark has led a portfolio of future mobility R&D projects, underpinning the next generation of advanced electrification propulsion systems in partnership with Innovate UK, academia, SMEs, and supply chain, most notable one of the UKs largest Government funded automotive research programme ‘Evoque-e’ in 2015, delivering the technical foundation for the new Jaguar iPace EV.

In 2017, Mark was appointed Head of Global Manufacturing Innovation within Jaguar Land Rover’s Manufacturing Group, accountable for the overall manufacturing innovation strategy and building cross sector collaborations to inform technology roadmaps in: future factories, human centric manufacturing, smart connect enterprise, immersive capabilities.

In May 2019, Mark was appointed Interim Challenge Director at UK Research & Innovation leading the Manufacturing Made Smarter Industrial Strategy Challenge Fund strategic planning, business case and delivery plan. Following the successful delivery and transition to the operational team, Mark established RAVMAC Ltd consultancy working with businesses and organisations driving operational and organisational capabilities through the application of digital technology strategies and technical road mapping.
