Dr. Jake Entwistle

Jake Entwistle is the Lead Engineer overseeing the delivery of Altilium’s ACT2 pilot processing plant, a cutting-edge facility dedicated to recycling lithium-ion battery black mass and recovery of critical battery materials, including nickel, cobalt, manganese, lithium and graphite.

 

Jake holds a PhD in battery materials and has extensive experience across industrial and academic projects in the UK, working on lithium-ion and sodium-ion battery active materials, electrode manufacturing and cell testing. Before joining Altilium, he served as Director of Battery Materials at a US-based nano-silicon start-up, developing next-generation anode active materials.
