Event Partners Ltd Position Re: COVID-19
Last updated 17 June 2021
It has always been the case that the co-located events, The Advanced Materials Show, Battery Cells & Systems Expo, Vehicle Electrification Expo and Ceramics UK have been ready to run under Stage 3 of the UK Government’s COVID-19 Response Roadmap. We have invested heavily to ensure we have every possible additional measure to ensure a safe environment for everyone onsite.
Following Monday’s announcement by Boris Johnson that the re-opening has been delayed, we feel that whilst we were still able to open the show safely, the experience for our exhibitors, attendees and speakers is our number one priority and so have taken the decision to postpone the event. We have reviewed various options for alternative dates and have decided that, with an incredibly busy Autumn/ Winter period, (i.e. businesses returning to the office, many tradeshows already scheduled to take place etc) that the best option for all involved would be to push our held dates to 29 – 30 June 2022. This will enable us to progress to a much larger event than was planned this year.
With the frustrations and changes that we have all faced throughout the last 18 months, it is imperative for us that this is the final change, and we can look forward to and plan for next year’s event, confident that not only will the UK covid pandemic be under control but that international travel will also be fully open.
Thank you again for the support and patience you have shown the team at Event Partners. We look forward to delivering a truly large-scale international exhibition and conference next year.
